Panasonic Corporation donated 1,200 solar lanterns to people in Minh Long, Tra Bong, Son Tay and Bac Tra My districts in Quang Nam and Quang Ngai provinces. The ceremony was held at the People’s Committee of Long Son Commune, Minh Long district in the cooperation with World Vision International Vietnam.

Singapore, 25 September 2015 - Panasonic Industrial Devices Semiconductor Asia (PIDSCA) was one of four organisations awarded the Pinnacle Award by the Community Chest, commemorating over 20 years of support to the latter's SHARE (Social Help Assistance Raised by Employees) programme. The Pinnacle Award is the highest honour bestowed that night.

The Grand Prix went to Montfort College of Thailand and other finalists from China, Germany, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore were recognised with category awards. Team from Clementi Town Secondary School of Singapore clinched the "Creative Media” award with its production “Social ME-dia”.
